Rehearsal Directions

The New England Philharmonic rehearses on Sunday evenings from 7:15-10:00pm at:

Simmons College
300 The Fenway
Boston, Mass.

By Public Transportation

• Take an outbound MBTA Green Line "E" train marked "Heath Street" or "Arborway" to the Museum/Ruggles stop
• Exit the train and walk to the right on Louis Prang street past the Gardner Museum.
• Just past the Gardner, turn left on Palace Road, and walk through the gate into the Simmons Parking lot behind the main building.
• Go up the steps and in the door at the back of the main building.
• Turn right, go through a short hallway, and into the main part of the administration building.
• Turn right and walk down the hall to the elevator. Take the elevator to the third floor.
• Exit the elevator and turn right. The rehearsal room is at the end of the hall.

By Car From the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90)

• Remain on the Mass Pike until the Prudential Center/Copley Square Exit, #22
• Take Prudential Center (left lane) exit onto Huntington Avenue. (You'll be going westbound on Huntington.)
• Go 1 mile (8 lights)
• You will pass Northeastern University and the Museum of Fine Arts (both on your right).
• One block past the museum, at the traffic light, make a right onto Louis Prang Street
• Continue straight through the light. The street name will change to The Fenway.
• Pass the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and the Main Building of Simmons College on your left.
• Bear left onto Avenue Louis Pasteur (you will be forced to turn at this point.)
• Turn left into to the parking lot and drive through the gate.
• Turn left into the parking garage and park at the bottom of the ramp.
• Go through the door opposite the ramp.
• Take the elevator up to the top.
• Walk through the café/lounge, go through the doors opposite the elevator, and walk down the short hallway into the first-floor corridor.
• Turn right and walk down the hall to the elevator. Take this elevator to the third floor.
• Exit the elevator and turn right. The rehearsal room is at the end of the hall.

By Car from the South/I-93 & from the North/I-93, Route 1

• Take Exit 26 onto Storrow Drive west.
• Take the left exit marked "The Fenway, Route 1 South". Bear left on the exit ramp, which will bring you up onto a viaduct.
• Bear right at the light. At the next light, turn left onto Park Drive. Follow Park Drive through its intersection with Brookline avenue (about 0.6 miles)
• After you cross Brookline Avenue, bear left. The road will bend 180 degrees.
• Cross Brookline Avenue again. You're now on the Fenway (see map).
• Take the first right onto Avenue Louis Pasteur.
• Turn left into to the parking lot and drive through the gate.
• Turn left into the parking garage and park at the bottom of the ramp.
• Go through the door opposite the ramp.
• Take the elevator up to the top.
• Walk through the café/lounge, go through the doors opposite the elevator, and walk down the short hallway into the first-floor corridor.
• Turn right and walk down the hall to the elevator. Take this elevator to the third floor.
• Exit the elevator and turn right. The rehearsal room is at the end of the hall.
